The story

A little home among the trees.

On 24 June 2018, it was time for an overnight stay at our favourite spot in Lexbydal. With a tent and outdoor cooking on the agenda, our outing could continue as day turned into evening.

The red tent became our little home among the trees. The photographs capture things we love about camp life: packed backpacks, greenery around the campsite and a moment by the fire as darkness falls.

For dinner, we cooked beef stroganoff and brought a bottle of red wine to enjoy with it. Two servings on the camping table, surrounded by woodland — it seemed our kitchen had opened a branch in Lexbydal.

In the evening photographs, the tent glows warmly among the trees, while the lights of nearby buildings shine in the distance. The collection also includes the view in daylight and breakfast with eggs frying on the camping stove. Little glimpses of why we enjoy coming back here.
